Why House Church?
House church or housechurch simply is a term which is often used to describe a lot of movements and theological things. But we only use it to refer to what the church once looked like and to get a basic impression of what God’s people truly is – a family. And because every member of a family often (and always) spends time with one another, a “house” describes it very well. In a “house” you are close to each other, sharing life with one another, eating food, playing games, having fun, learning, crying, comforting, encouraging, growing, laughing and a lot more…in simple terms: LIFE.
Family-Life with God as a foundation.
That’s what we were made for.
And this kind of family-life is the real life we shall have as a church.
This kind of family-life shows our real love for one another.
(In Greek terms: Zoe and koinonia, meaning: True godly Life and real loving and caring family-fellowship with one another).
The bible tells us that this kind of life is the life that the early Christians lived out. It’s the life Jesus had with his disciples.
They went from house to house and even Peter describes us as living stones which are being built up into a spiritual house as a holy people.
Isn’t it great? 🙂
Therefore…
God loves you!
If you don’t know God yet, we want to encourage you to search for Him, talk to Him, turn away from your ego, pride, ungodly life and sins and trust Jesus Christ, who is real and alive. He can touch your heart as He did with ours.
If you already know God and are a Christian, we want to encourage you to dig deeper and love Him with all of your heart, mind, soul and strength. Don’t be satisfied with tradition, rather be ready to let God change you to be more like Him.
This Website has nothing in common with denominations, Sunday services, sermons and the traditional way of church. We believe that God wants a people who love Him and really be His body with Him as head, living life as a spiritual family, loving one another truly and loving God wholeheartedly.
